Barter4kids is a fun new way to outfit your baby, toddler, child, or teen. Our children grow like weeds, so why not barter for their clothing with the clothing they already have in their closets?
Don't spend your CASH at the Mall, Thrift store, or your local Retailer for your kids clothes, come join us and get a trade credit and KEEP YOUR CASH FOR YOUR BILLS!
FOR EXAMPLE: If your clothes add up to $200, then you keep $200 in credit to use for your trade. If you only spend $150 in credit, then you will keep your $50 credit to spend on the next sale!!!!
FYI: I will be donating some items to a few families in the area that really NEED things for their kids, so if you only want to GIVE clothes and not participate, your things will go to a good cause.
Go to the donation page to find out more! If you or someone you know has a need or a Ministry that has a need, please email me the information and I'll be happy to make a donation.
So it's kinda like Consignment, but no money is exchanged other than the entrance fee. This will help cover advertising, and all other related expenses for the event.
To become a member, please email me and ask for an invitation to join the site.
NEW:

Here's how the sale works:
1. Find all your unwanted or outgrown kids clothes, games, books, shoes, and anything they don't use any more and make an appointment to get your "trade credit" amount. You will receive a "trade credit" that will be used to barter or "buy" other clothes and items at the sale. ONCE YOU RECEIVE YOUR TRADE CREDIT AMOUNT YOUR ITEMS BECOME THE PROPERTY OF BARTER4KIDS. This will ensure you aren't getting double credit. If you do not spend all of your credit amount, you will be able to use the credit toward future sales.
2. Come in on the day of the sale, this is a private sale and only consignors can shop, so tell all your friends, family, Church, Daycare and anyone you know so they can save money too!
3. Shop by using your "trade credit" The upside to this is that you get full credit for your clothes and not a percentage like a cash sale. (keep the credit you don't use for the next sale)
4. Leave happy
If you have any questions concerning how this works, please email me

Maternity clothing will also be accepted, in style please. All clothing and shoes are to be clean, and free of any smells, no stains, holes, or excessive wear. If you are a smoker please spray some febreeze on your items before drop off. If you have pets, please use a lint roller to clean off any pet hairs that may have been left behind.

Only bring something that you would buy to put on your kids, we won't accept bad quality clothing or toys.
Please follow these instructions:
*Go to the Member Page and sign up to become a member(this is free of charge) :)
*All clothes need to be on a hanger with the hook pointing to the left. Smaller items may need to secured using zip ties or safety pins, please do not staple your tags.
Here's an example of what your clothing should look like. Use any hanger you wish, plastic, wire, anything will be fine, just make sure all clothing is secured and will not fall off easily when handled. Safety pins can be found cheap at the Dollar General Store for $1.75 for about 100, and index cards at the Dollar Tree $1.00 for 100, cut in half that's 200 tags.
Here's an example of how our clothes will look on the racks
*Secure a tag(this should be an index card cut in half) to the right side of the garment at the top using a safety pin. Be sure to put the "price" in the top right corner in dollar increments only. This should be comparable to if you were pricing a CASH consignment sale. At our appointment we can determine if your price is "fair". Should you have any questions about this process, please email me. Please put the size of the item in the lower left corner and a brief description in the middle. You don't have to put much detail on the tag, enough information to locate the item if the tag falls off for some reason. But this is very time consuming, so try not to put too much detail into it. Here's an example:
***Please keep in mind that you must think of this as if you are putting your items in a Consignment Sale (not a yard sale) and as if you are pricing your items this way. Excessive pricing will not be accepted!! We reserve the right to change the price at drop off if we consider the price to be too high or too low, with your approval. Be very reasonable when pricing.***
*It doesn't matter what color you write your information in on your tag.
(You can even use your tags from previous Consignment Sales)
I know I have given a lot of information on this page, if you have any questions, please feel free to email me.
Sorry but some items will not be accepted such as:
Underwear, potty seats, cloth diapers, used nursing pads, overly used bibs, stuffed animals, personal use baby products, etc. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me concerning the matter. It is your responsibility to be sure your toys have not been recalled.
We accept no responsibility if you bring us an item that has a safety concern.
